Well Hung and Tender Down Under
Five weeks working at the Adelaide Fringe, very little sleep and lots of adventures.
Sarah M, Sarah C, Scotty and I are long term Well Hung and Tender staff who had joined up with Donald and Nicol in Adelaide to sell burgers and burritos to the Australian festival goers.
Sarah M and I were staying in the residential wing of the Royal Adelaide Hospital, directly opposite the helicopter landing pad and on the same corridor as a lot of Fringe ‘atristes’. We were working for about 55 hours per week, but most shifts started after 4pm so we managed to fit in lots of fun in the sun. We also got Mondays off, so squeezed in trips to the beach, a wine tour and a day at the Adelaide Cup.
We were having far too much fun to take many photographs, but the ones I did take are below. And for those of you who were also in Adelaide, I decided that writing a detailed story of our time there was ill advised. Instead, I have made a word-art thing summing it all up.
