…And I’d like to thank the internet, google, wikipedia, tea breaks and chocolate….Hahaha It took me a while, but I finally got around to graduating! Three years of experiments, four different work sites, one crushed finger, lots of new friends, six painful months of writing and a 250 page thesis were complete. Sneak Birthday

Graham is going to turn 35 on Friday, but we are going to spend most of the day on a bus. I thought the (soon to be) grumpy old man deserved some celebrations for the big day so we had a surprise Sunday birthday instead. Spectacular sand and delightful dunes

I have been lucky enough to grow up in two beautiful parts of England and to live in two beautiful cities, to ski in places with stunning scenery and hike through some incredible countryside. But I was still surprised by the breathtaking views in the Namib desert.
