African Children

A lot of the children we met in Zambia don’t have very much. No shiny plastic toys, no books. They often make their own toys, and their own fun.

Boys on their way home from school

This boy had set up a miniature farm and had a digger to go with it

A game involving filling bottles with sand

Two girls sorting stones

The pre-school children looking at an owl

A new toy

Lana and lots of Zambian children

A home made bow and arrow

Lots of children played with tyres and bike wheels

The pre-school children loved the camera and wanted to take lots of photos of themselves

Sheree, Natasha and friends

These girls ran to meet us most evenings our way home. Some would give us a big hug, others a more formal hand shake!
